Tyranid Photos: Trygon, Tervigon, Carnifexes, Hormagaunts, WIP Sculpting

Here’s more model photos, including one I snagged from the upcoming battle report. The focus this time is bugs, the big ones.

I am building a pair of Tervigons for my friend Darren, along the lines of mine (the painted one.) The orange stuff is that air-dry foam clay from Lakeshore. He is mounted on an old CD with some of that foam junk spread on. If my #$%& green stuff ever arrives (2.5 months and counting) I can add some detail to the sculpt.

The DOM has a core of an acorn, wire, and foam clay with grey stuff applied and some green stuff over that, with a Tyranid warrior mouth as the sole non sculpted part. He looks worse ever since I combined multiple colors of clay and then sanded him down, but it will all come together when he gets primed.

My Trygon mod can be fielded as any of the variants really. Not much of a conversion, just mixing and matching parts really. Eventually he will get a more sculpted base.
